Christmas Gifts

     There was a gentleman named Mr. Josh. Dad was always present just before Christmas. No one who knew or knew his full name. So people wondering and whispering: Is the name of the father? This man always comes and comes after hours of eating. Her presence was always busy when suddenly it hit stores. The people with different preoccupations in and out of the store to buy various goods and other necessities for Christmas. Both mothers and fathers and children crowded into the store. The mothers find the price of clothing with a sale price, the gentlemen who traveled to see a handkerchief or clothing in which sold at low prices due to cut a percentage and the children find a variety of games related to Christmas celebrations. Mr. Josh this saying: "Oh, how beautiful children thanks to the Divine." 

     In the heart of this father said: "Their eyes are rounded and radiant are seeing so many beautiful things in the store." Mr. Josh, so pay attention to the behavior and movements of these children. There are children who come without parents, there are children who dress simply and there are children holding little money for the bus ride home town. Mr. Josh with saliva that dries at the threshold of his lips and with eyes full of charm, beauty staring at many games in the store that is not possible they (the children) to buy or possess. 

     Mr. Josh, so careful attention to what is happening around him, both shoppers and children. Then quietly he signed to one clerk on duty next to them. The man was taking the goods being admired the child. Child's eyes suddenly shed tears because of sadness, disappointment and heartache. Things have taken those dreams. Clerk is then wrapped and handed to Mr. Josh. Expression which is reflected in the faces of children, it is difficult told with words. Surprised, confused and do not believe ,..... even sing like a dream in the day. 

     Mr. Josh settle all accounts. This man does not know the boy, on the contrary the kids do not know or have a relationship with him. But this father of the children were happy, the kids are for life they never received a Christmas gift. Every Christmas, Christmas gifts circulating here and there. 

     Did we give Christmas gifts to those in need? Or even give us eat and drink until we drunk even forget themselves, much less to the rich and honorable? Human life is not just a meal or drink, but what and how to act and our actions, when we saw our neighbors who desperately need our help. 

Lord Jesus Christ never take His sacrifice for the whole world and mankind, but the Lord Jesus Christ sacrificed Himself for the salvation of mankind with love, earnestness and sincerity.

Living faith and dead faith

     This sermon begins with a brief illustration of the "Life in a rural church", a story like the following illustration: "One time at a church in the hinterland far from the bustle of the city came a new evangelist. In this remote place of the evangelist saw that the spiritual life the church suffered a setback or nearly dead. The days turned into months turned into months, days or even the evangelists are seeing that the congregation in church life and worship has been minimal or lack of care, in other words the evangelists are seeing that only a few people who attended and gave themselves in fellowship of the church. 

     The evangelist asked himself: Why does this happen in our church even though statistically this church has enough members? View and look at reality in this congregation, then the evangelists are doing and apply their knowledge of the most powerful. With full of brilliant intellect that the evangelist is to make an ad that appeared in newspapers and other electronic media. The contents of advertisements published by the evangelist is no sorrow or death event in these congregations, in hopes that all members of the congregation will be present. 

     Apparently the ad was effective and serious attention of all members of the congregation. On the next day all the churches that read, see and hear these ads come in droves to the church. Previously, the evangelist has prepared a coffin equipped funeral wreath is placed in front of the church pulpit. After all the church members present at the church, then the evangelist was directly in charge of the worship service. After finishing the service, What happened? The evangelist was with great courage and convinced to give opportunity to the entire congregation to see the body as a last greeting. One by one the congregation stepped forward toward the casket. Apparently the brothers, after all members of the congregation to see what's in the coffin, they go home with a heavy heart and deep shame. Why is that? 

     It turned out the contents of the coffin is not a body, but a large mirror. Through bold actions and type of the evangelists, then he realized what he had just done. But the church also became aware that what they see in the mirror it is themselves that they have been likened to that faith is dead. Effort and hard work of the evangelist, then this church back to life.” 

     What is the meaning and significance of the illustrations of this spiritual? Sometimes our faith is in decline even near death due to our attitude which sometimes do not open up even refused to work the Holy Spirit in our lives. Our faith will remain alive in us, if we want to live with faith. But our faith will die, if we ourselves do not want to live with faith. 

For the Christian community with this illustration it can be interpreted that: the Lord Jesus Christ who is the symbol of faith that will always live in your heart and your life, when you want to live with him. Lord Jesus Christ will always accept you, if you receive Him. But you will be rejected if you own shut down even reject Him.

Chicken and Lamb

     Certainly we know that both types of animals , namely chicken and lamb . Second These animal species have many differences in a very clear one Chicken , were two-legged and has a wing while the Sheep four-footed and do not have wings and stout again differences owned both types of these animals, but certainly we are very know the differences that are owned by two animals these . At one time a chicken is laying eggs and incubate for twenty-one days .That means that when the fullness of twenty-one days then the chicken eggs will hatch and the children born chicken as a new generation . 

     It is highly preferred by humans on sheep is wool . Because fur Bomba is one of the important benefits that are used by humans as the need for clothing and others. So did the chicken used by humans in terms of food ( and clothing ) . At one point in the field is overgrown with green grass Walk thousands flock of sheep that have developed the habit of eating well multiply. Flock of Sheep - herd is led by a chief who called " Head of Sheep " . In another place which was situated not far apart with a flock of sheep that eat grass while paddocks, there was a mother hen that while incubating eggs. On a mother hen when it came out and left the eggs. Parent this chicken forget that he was out searching for food is another day twenty- one in which the eggs will hatch . At the almost the same eggs that will hatch was found by a sheep and then also all the chicken eggs to hatch and this was witnessed by a sheep . 

     After the eggs hatched chickens , This chicken children assume that their mother is a sheep. After that the chicks will follow the lamb which is regarded as the mother or their parent is gone wherever sheep . This is highly undesirable by sheep because he was embarrassed to be followed or are friends with the kids chicken . Many plans , business and how that is done by sheep, so that he was not followed by the chicken children . Yet how much plans , business and the way the sheep to stay away from the chicks but all was in vain , in other words do not succeed because Just keep the chicks followed. Hens come home and go back to where he was brooding eggs. But he did not find the eggs but he found the shells of eggs ( eggs former has hatch ) . Hens have been looking everywhere but not discover where her children are. Hens are very sad because all the resources and effort he did but he did not succeed find her children . Hen told all his grief to be ready all she met with one hopes he can meet and reunited with her children . 

     This effort also failed and he was almost desperate , but he remained determined to find missing children . Various information he got and collect so that eventually she found her children missing . Parent This chicken find her children were together with a sheep. But oddly enough the chicks do not want to come with mother ( hen ) . diletakanlah Then the chicks are between mother hen and sheep. It is with the intention that the children of this chicken choose whom they would follow . The world is upside down " why ? " , chosen by the chicks are not the real mother hen their mother , but that they chose is the only sheep by kebetulah witnessed the birth of these chicks . How way so that the chicks follow the mother hen who is them and not follow the sheep who are physically different and that really not a parent of these chickens . How to order that the chicks follow the mother hen this is took the reed sheep , made clothes and fit to the parent chicken . It turns out it works and live chicks with mother. This hen thank the sheep who have been give up and sacrifice of your hair with beauty crown one purpose of the chicks are able to return and unite hiudp returned with his mother . Despite this sad loss of sheep rabut as a crown of beauty , but she was grateful because it can do whether that is by re- unite mother hen and her children separated since birth . 

     Brother of believers are sometimes in our lives , we are required to choose between two competing interests , that our interests or interests of others (many people) . Can we sacrifice our interests and give priority to the interests of others? . To sacrifice for something positive and a blessing to corpulent person for me it is something that should and need to be made . But sacrifice to obstruct, impede , turns off many people , or harming others is something that does not sacrifice received an award but the humiliation and punishment of God God . God did not put a man on this earth to destroy , kill and give death to other human , but human the one placed by God because it is needed by the human another . In other words, humans are one can not live without other human differences and talents possessed. Do not be like a mother hen was the lack of attention to the blessings and trust , but be like sheep relah even though he sacrificed himself to lose something very precious. This is the salt and light of the real world , like the Lord Jesus Christ is our sacrifice for mankind. Because the sacrifice of the Lord Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of sins we are human and to provide safety for us.

Open , Close And Viruses 

     In a house there lived two families with the nature, character and different habits. Families with a family that is very closed, compared with one family who wanted and always open to families or people who live there and surround. Families who we call this a closed family Close and families that one family is also what we call Open. Family Open This always wanted to open the Close family, but any business Open family never managed to break down attitudes closed from the Close family. Efforts by the family Open never subsided or ceased to know the attitude closure of the Close family, which this is considered by Open as a form of family life that is not good or not normal. Ways for them will be done by the family to know the secrets of the Open what is in the Close family life. 

     Then the family Open find a way to find out background of family life Close by sending a Secret Agent in the life Secret Agent days of this less attention in the family, with In other words always be set aside.This we call the Secret Agent Virus. Way an accurate and precise to be done by the virus according to a family Open is to spy on all family activities Close. At one when the virus is carrying out its duties for spying activities Close family by looking through the keyhole of the door. Your know what was found by the virus when spying activities Close family through the door keyhole?. Virus seen in Close family there was a man who was ill with paralysis. sick man who is served by a family with a member to eat and drinking even accompanied by music. In my heart and mind, Viruses imagine that if he had served by the family with given food and drink without effort and certainly the music accompaniment This is very fun. The findings of this virus is not notified to Open family relative. But he decided to find ideas so that he can be served by his family as seen in the Close family .

     The virus is found in ways make a doll made of plastic the size of human. This doll placed above the roof of the house and tied with a rope that can be drawn down to the bottom. The virus then the way forward to pull the doll house that he put on the roof of the house. Moment he pulled down the doll was, at that time he also visits by family Close. Virus pretend that the fall was not a puppet but he own. Close family lift and carry virus to the Hospital. The assessment and diagnosis of doctors that the virus does not hurt slightest. After doctors diagnosed the virus heard he was ashamed and fled from the hospital. Viruses are not home runs but met his end because it was hit by a car. 1. Openness is needed in every relationship between human beings that exist under under heaven, so they are not inter-relationships there is suspicion, prejudice, not a good interpretation of human one against another human being, and this attitude is needed in the things in all areas of mutual tolerance, but openness is not good forever, right or true if it's only for openness hinder, impede or drop people around the existing us or in other words if the disclosure was only to achieve self-interest, arrogance and locate weaknesses of others. 

2. Closure is something that should not be mastered totality of human life. This is because other people will not can understand what and how we, if we have the properties and a closed attitude. On the other hand it is necessary secrecy in order to avoid the conversations considered unimportant gossip especially about the issue and that is not necessarily truth. Closure of this attitude can also lead to irrational actions or actions for committing fatal various actions before asking. 

3. Open, Close and Virus is a picture of the reality of life that is owned and lived by human beings from time to time. Eliminate immediate malicious viruses and these viruses do not be evil master our lives . Attitudes, the nature and character of what is present in you?, Are you has properties open or closed?, and Are you choose to always closed or open?. It all depends you choose it because both openness and secrecy each have a result or consequence, whether the consequences it is good or bad. Therefore be reasonable, use of conscience you and your common sense before acting. Last but hopefully mind, heart, words and our actions will always be a bright and peacemakers (blessing) for many people and that's when we be Salt and Light of the World. May the Lord Jesus Christ will always bless us always and wanted to share the love for the salt and the light of the world.
