The agreement parallels Baptism with Noah ( the flood )
" Is the only way we diaptisan saved? " . Every church or denomination has its own doctrine or teachings about baptism . But the essence of the baptism was not the only one out of rescue plan God to man as His creation. Precisely such baptism placed foremost within the framework of the promise of salvation. In The New Testament is found there are parallels with the three essential great deal in the Old Testament . Seeing parallels nature Baptism in the New Testament with the promise of salvation in the old agreement ,among other things: a. Parallels baptism with Testament Noah , b. Testament baptism parallels with Abraham and c. Testament baptism parallels with Moses . The following will elaborated at length about the parallels baptism in Old Testament ( Noah ) . " Testimony of this in I Peter 3:18-22 it can be understood that the meaning of baptism parallels with Noah Agreement namely, that Noah and his family safe in the ark, brought to the world new by a flood, drowning those who do not believe it. This is the form judgments of God upon sinners , and not believe , but the judgments of God is precisely to ensure safety those who obey and believe in Him . In this way then the Christians ( people believe) through the courts over sin , secure in Christ . The flood that hit the Ark of Noah , in which can not corrupt the Flood of Noah and the Ark can not harm the people ( Noah family ) is in the ark . This is equal and parallel to the court that struck the Lord God Jesus Christ , who died , was the right thing, replacing and protecting people who although innocent but want to surrender and take refuge Him. In this way , so now the Christian life in an atmosphere in which the risen Christ commanded. Deluge interpreted as a symbol of baptism . This is where the Christians live in new world . However , as stated in I Peter 3:18-22 , that not only because of baptism . Baptism does not have the power to soiling clean meat. But this power is in death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ , who received the through a personal appeal to God . What is the meaning we baptized one or more than one occasion we in baptism , if we do not live in Christ or are still controlled by desires of the flesh / carnal . In other words what it means to us in baptism if we do not do good . Let us live in light of the Lord Jesus Christ and His truth.
